American Timeline analysis, section 3: August 8th, 1521

Hello once again people who read this blog!
So.. You all know the drill by now. I'm reviewing/writing down a timeline, section 1 and 2 are done, yada yada. So. Onto section three!

August 8th, 1512: The day the fall of an empire started.
On that day in History, the Spanish Conquest of the Aztec Empire started. For those of you who don't know, the Aztecs were the greatest known Empire of Native Mexico. They were powerful, vicious, and demanding. Also a little crazy, but hey. If you had a giant killer flying snake as a god, you'd probably be pretty crazy too. They were on top of the world, in the prime of their empire! Then comes along Hernan Cortes...

Hernan Cortes was born in 1485 in Castile. He was a conquistador, hungry for fame and fortune. He was gonna get it, one way or another. Upon arriving in Mexico on an expedition, he met the Aztecs and befriended them. Not for long though. Shortly after he not only plundered a ton of their gold and riches, but then proceeded to kill off all the Aztecs. Such a wonderful person.

Well, that's all for today. I'll see you all tomorrow for Section 4. Peace!

  1. Good post, Buddy. I saw maybe one or two Grammar errors, but nothing life ending. I see we need to update your blog this summer. It still says you are 13
